In the latest episode of their podcast, ‘Chrisley Confessions 2.0’ ‘, Todd became real on the moment he put his eyes on Julie’s new look, in particular, his change in unexpected hair color. After 30 years of wedding, Todd was shaken when Julie will abandon his signature blonde locks for a darker atmosphere. Why Todd Chrisley was ready to return to prison after seeing Julie
Todd was not ready for the twist of the intrigue which was Julie’s new look. In the July 23 episode of their podcast, the 56 -year -old was frank about his meeting with his main lady after their stay. For three decades, Todd said that he only knew Julie like a blonde. So when they finally saw each other again, with Julie swinging her darker hair, he was thrown all along.
“I’m not going to lie. When I saw you for the first time, when I got out of this car, I started to think about coming back, ”admitted Todd American magazine. “But then, I thought, let me kiss this. It’s a moment.”
Julie was not there for the shadow as she was broken, “Are you kidding right now?” Well, I know that, Todd, but I had no choice. ” Todd doubled, saying it was a “difficult moment” to see his wife different from the way he is used to seeing her. He pointed out that they have been together for so many years, and Julie has never been with something other than blond hair.

Julie reveals that she was authorized to style her hair in prison
Further on, Sis spread on the way she kept her hair behind bars … at least during the first months, she was locked up. During the podcast, Julie revealed that she had access to a living room while serving her sentence, which kept her hair game at the beginning. She shared that she obtained protruding facts from another detainee who worked on her magic on her head. “I arrived in January, right?” Said Julie. “She left in March. So she led once before her departure. ”
When her prison hairdresser was released, Julie’s hair routine took a hit. Her roots started to grow gray, and without anyone to keep her blonde poppin, she turned to Brown Box Dye to cover it. “I have done it for a long time”, “ Julie shared. “I did it for probably a year and a half, maybe.” Finally, she decided to let her hair develop naturally, thinking that she would not be released until August 2026. She did not know, her forgiveness was at the corner of the street, just like her reunion with her husband.
Todd recently spoke of injustices he witnessed against black men in prison
Beyond the hair drama, Todd has recently become serious, highlighting the harsh realities which he witnessed when she was incarcerated. He called the deep inequalities of the penitentiary system, in particular how black men were treated. During a press conference held at the end of May, he shared, “Being in the penitentiary system, whoever says it is a fair shake, this is not the case. They were refused programming. They have been refused access to certain things, “ He said. “I had not refused, but we know why I did not refuse myself.”
Todd’s honesty on the systemic problems he saw in the first hand was well received by fans, who congratulated him for having used his platform to defend the reform of the prisons. Notice, he had just been released when he decided to shed light on the question.
“I met wonderful men.
