Doherty died of breast cancer in July 2024. She was 53 years old. Doherty was better known for her roles in shows like Beverly Hills, 90210 And Charm. She was diagnosed for the first time with stadium breast cancer in 2015 and, after having entered into remission three years later, her cancer returned in 2020 and spread to her brain.
