Halle Bailey was officially honored by the City of Los Angeles for his plea work surrounding maternal health and for the courageous opening of His postpartum trip. Recognition came during Summit on maternal health of Project Pit, where Halle received his flowers –literally and figuratively– to be a voice for so many Women sailing maternity in silence.

But, it was not only applause – the presence of Halle at the top bore weight. She was explained on the High and postpartum Life since becoming a new mother, and her vulnerability has contributed to triggering essential conversations around black maternal health, mental well-being and community care. The city of Los Angeles has clearly indicated: with regard to advocacy, Halle is here to have an impact.

Halle also underlined the ceremony with a sentimental post on Instagram. She captioned the photo dumping ground:

“Hi everyone, I just want to thank the city of Los Angeles and [Project Pit] For this incredible honor. To be recognized to talk about maternal health and my own postpartum course is really humiliating just a reminder that vulnerability is not weakness, it is the bridge that connects us all. »»
