Moore is married to Dawes singer Taylor Goldsmith and they have three young children – Sons Gus, 4 years old, and Ozzie, 2 years old, and his daughter Lou, 10 months – who were apparently in the car.
The family recently returned from a relaxing vacation in Punta Mita, where they spent quality time on the beaches of Mexico. “Nothing beats a beach vacation with some of your breaths (I’m watching you @whatsgabycookin),” shared Moore via Instagram Earlier Friday. “What epic for a few days, @fspuntamita! We can’t wait to come back (Gus has not stopped talking about it) !!”
The trip was a necessary respite after a difficult year for Moore, who lost the recently renovated house of his family in California Eaton Fire in January.

Although she previously thought that the “main part” of the house was “still standing”, it turned out that everything had to be demolished.
“The clothes, the furniture, almost everything will have to be eliminated … Maybe even the walls too,” she wrote at the time. “We will not be there for a very long time because he and the district himself settled and cleaned and the reconstruction begins. I say it all because I am in trouble. “

“It was a one-year hell and my mother-in-law, Kathy, took the opportunity from all points of view. Likewise. Likewise, I don’t know what I would have done without her in the hours, days, weeks and months that followed the fire,” Moore shared. “She has undergone her own loss and has been by our side from the very beginning, without jumping a beat. I have a broken heart that our 5 -minute walk from her house is no longer on the table but so grateful that we have been able to live under the same roof for the past 6 months – if there is a silver lining in this thing, it is definitely ours.”
