Friday August 1, the long -standing partner of the sentenced pedophile Jeffrey Epstein – Died by suicide in 2019 – was transferred from a federal prison in Florida to a low -security prison camp in Texas, his lawyer confirmed The New York Times.

Meanwhile, Shah, 51, leads to a six and a half year sentence after pleading guilty of fraud by wire as part of a telemarketing program.
In 2022, Maxwell was sentenced to 20 years in prison for conspiracy with Epstein to sexually abuse minors, including children as young as 14 years.
“Today’s sentence is due to Ghislaine Maxwell responsible for having perpetuated heinous crimes against children”, American lawyer Damian Williams said in a Declaration of the Ministry of Justice at the time. “This sentence sends a strong message that no one is above the law and it is never too late for justice. We again express our gratitude to the victims of Epstein and Maxwell for their courage to manifest themselves, to testify at the trial and to share their stories in the context of today’s conviction. “
There has been a renewed interest in Maxwell and the case of deceased Epstein, after the candidate of the Préri-Presidentiel Donald Trump said he would release the so-called “Epstein files”, an alleged list of all the customers of the late sex offender, if he returned to the White House for the second time.

After the Attorney General Bondi said earlier this month that Epstein had not maintained a “list of customers”, although he previously stated that she had the so -called “desktop” files, reports alleged that the president – who had a documented friendship with Epstein and Maxwell – was named as one of the Epstein customers. (According to The Wall Street Journal,, The Ministry of Justice informed Trump that his name was in the files. Bondi said that the Doj would not publish the files due to the presence of juvenile pornography.)
Maxwell was transferred to the Texas prison camp only a few days after meeting the general by-procurer White todd. Maxwell said via her lawyer that she was willing to testify about her and Epstein crimes before the congress, if granted to immunity and a host of other requests. President Donald Trump also launched the possibility of issuing a presidential forgiveness to Maxwell.
“Well, I am allowed to forgive him, but I – no one approached me. No one asked me about it,” the president told journalists last week. “It is in the news on this subject, this aspect of this one, but at the moment, it would be inappropriate to talk about it.”
Holmes began to serve his 11 -year sentence at the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas on May 30, 2023. In addition to her incarceration, she was ordered to pay $ 452 million on return.
Shah, for his part, started his sentence in February 2023.
“Jen has succeeded very well – work on his personal self and focus on his trip to positive rehabilitation,” wrote the Shah representative in a newspaper entry in December 2024 via his website. “Jen is currently focusing on his next feast showcase in the FPC Bryan prison and continues to send love to her family, fans and friends who are continuously sending her a message in support. She is grateful for all those who continue to pray and keep her in a positive light.”
Shah has since reduce his prison sentence four times. It should be published on September 19, 2026, almost two months earlier than expected.
