The 31-year-old dancer went to Instagram stories during the weekend of July 4 to share a comforting photo of her huddling with Rome, who drank in a bottle.
This should have been a soft moment between the mother and the son quickly became sour after Jenna Johnson received an offensive direct message from another Instagram user, the one who crossed a major line.

On Saturday July 5, Johnson republished a message she received from a user, as well as a powerful response.
“Soooo yesterday, I posted a photo of me and my son, whom I had not seen for 4 days and many people felt strongly at the idea of drinking in a bottle,” she started. “Totally well when other mothers give positive advice and I am always open to comments to some extent. But this woman (who is the profile photo is her own baby) decided to dm. In which world do we live ??”
The comment in question? “Far too old for this big r-tard to have a bottle,” wrote the person, arousing the indignation and the sorrow of Johnson and his supporters.

Johnson reaches the point of rupture on online intimidation

The star of “DWTS” continued, expressing the emotional assessment of being examined publicly for something so personal.
“I understand that I put my life publicly there, which I honestly want to stop doing when extremely coarse and harmful messages towards my baby are sent to me. But are we going well as a company? After the love and support she received from her fans, she took up Instagram Stories to thank them.
“I honestly cried while reading all your messages,” she wrote. “My heart really hurt yesterday how many people can be vile and nasty, but again, I was shown to what extent this small community here can also appear.”
She added: “Let us remember that we are all humans, sailing on life as best we can! I promise to try to diffuse only positivity and light on my flow, and I hope you feel inspired to do the same.”

Johnson is thinking about fertility struggles that made Bébé Rome even more special
Jenna shares Rome with her husband and her compatriot “Dancing with the stars” pro Val Chmerkovskiy.
The couple got married in April 2019 and Welcomed Rome in January 2023 After facing a long and emotional fertility journey. Johnson previously talked about their conception challenges and “shock, disbelief and pure joy” that she felt when she discovered that she was pregnant.
