Anne Burrell was found dead in her Brooklyn house on the morning of June 17, 2025. Her husband, Stuart Claxton, discovered that she was not responding to the shower and called 911 to report a cardiac arrest.

Emergency medical services have arrived and said it dead on the scene around 7:50 am

The medical examiner has not yet published official cause of death, and no unfair game has been confirmed.

The authorities continue to investigate the circumstances, including the presence of pills, as part of a routine investigation in such cases.
