The singer “Love You Like A Love Song” has recently joined the Oreo Cookie brand to develop her own limited edition cookie for summer.

The Oreo brand has offered many creative flavors in a limited edition over the years, but the new flavor of the singer of “new classic” could well prove to be a new favorite of fans. The new sweet and spicy cookies are based on the love of the singer of Horchata, creating a chocolate making with a touch.

The new limited edition cookies include a layer of chocolate flavor cream and cinnamon on a layer of sweet condensed milk flavor cream which also has a hint of cinnamon sugar. The two chocolate waffles that sandwich the cream are also slightly spicy with cinnamon, creating an almost ginger chocolate cookie.

In a press release obtained by BreathThe singer “Kill Em With Kindness” explained that the flavor of Horchata came from the spicy non -alcoholic drink that she appreciated when she was a child, which is generally created from rice, water, cinnamon, sugar and a pinch of vanilla in Mexico. In Spain, the drink was originally made of tiger nuts, also called Chufa.

“Making my own Oreo cookie was very fun. I grew up by loving them, so being able to be part of the process was a moment in a full circle,” she said in a press release. “I wanted to find a way for it to feel comforting and have a little nostalgia for my childhood. Cinnamon flavor gives it this feeling of Horchata, and I am delighted that my fans are trying it.”

In addition to the unique flavor, Oreo has also created six different readings for fans. She even included a decoration of cookies that explains the “selenators”, what her fans themselves call, in a special tribute to their support during her years in industry.

According to the press release, there is also an exclusive cookie found in approximately all three packs which presents its classic signature. Although this is not the first time that Oreo has made embellishments in their cookie shape, this is the first time that the Oreo brand has used an autograph on a cookie.

Unfortunately, most Oreo cookies are made with wheat flour and are therefore not gluten -free. Breath Contacted the brand to comment and could confirm that not only are these limited edition cookies not gluten -free, but that it is not planned to publish a gluten -free variety in the future.

This is disappointing for gluten -free fans who are trying to try the new flavor, but there is hope that a limited edition cookie flavor could be available all over the line. Currently, Oreo has released their traditional sandwich cookiesTheir golden sandwich cookies and their sandwich mint cookies, in gluten -free form, exchanging wheat flour for a mixture of gluten -free flours that include white rice flour and oatmeal.

In a conversation with PEOPLEThe magazine, the star of “only Murders in the Building” explained that she had decided to join Oreo to create a new cookie to “get involved” with her fans and have fun in the process.

“I am selective by deciding to associate with marks, because it must always be something authentic for me,” she explained. “Like most people, I liked Oreo cookies for as long as I remember, and so when I was approached to collaborate on my own flavor, it was something that I couldn’t say no to do.”

She continued by saying that it was a new way of “engaging with [her] fans “in a way that” felt different from everything [she’d] done in the past. She wanted to share the “very personal” flavor with her subscribers, adding: “Even if you never had Horchata, it was my goal to trigger a feeling of familiarity when someone takes a bite.”
