“We did not leave the door and I timed the woman in front of me,” started Joy. “You all know that I like a listening phone read on a plane.”
Joy explained that even if she initially thought that the woman would be friendly, “we established a visual contact while we are embarrassing”, things quickly turned once the woman released her phone.
According to Joy, River was not crying but was particularly “talkative” mood. However, that did not prevent the woman from challenging the presence of their child in her personal texts.

The couple, who made the knot in April 2024, welcomed River Rose two months ago, in February. Since the parents have become, Viall and Joy have been frank on their trip, including the sorrow they have known.
In the episode of January 29 of the podcast “The Viall Files”, the model shared that it was in the middle of a miscarriage.
“I tried to be a good mom to river and come and do my job, whether on the podcast or on social networks last week,” said Joy, holding tears. “And currently, as I am sitting here today, I actively miscademn our second child, and it is the biggest sorrow, I think, in my life.”

Joy, who has been frank in the past both on his maternity experience and his personal growth, shared that his sorrow is amplified by the challenge of balancing sorrow with the joyful demands of parenting.
“I want River to be able to look back and see his parents’ love for his brother who could have been here,” she said. “I just feel dead inside. And it sucks because I have to be so alive for the river. You know? I must be silly and clumsy and funny and play with her. ”
Her voice breaks, joy turned to Viall and admitted that she felt torn between mourning and presence. “And then I have this overwhelming guilt that when I am with you, I can’t also do that,” she said. “I’m sad that the only version of me you get right now is that broken person, and I’m sorry for that.”
