Chris Brown Pays Millions to Walk Free Before Tour Launch

The 36 -year -old artist was arrested last week in Salford and charged in connection with an alleged attack not caused in a London nightclub in February 2023.

He is accused of hitting a music producer with a bottle of tequila.

After spending several days in detention and refused to release on bond last Friday, Brown was released on Wednesday at Southwark Crown Court.

Although Brown does not appear in person, the Bbc said the judge had forced him to immediately pay security fees of $ 5.4 million, with an additional $ 1.3 million due within seven days.

A security fee acts as financial insurance that the defendant will appear before the court as required.

Metropolitan police detectives arrested Chris Brown in the early hours of Thursday, May 15, as part of an alleged violent incident in 2023.

The police arrested the 36 -year -old singer shortly after 2 a.m. at the Lowry Hotel in Manchester.

According to the authorities, the arrest stems from an altercation of the night club of Tape in Hanover Square, Mayfair, Central of London, on February 19, 2023.
