While reflecting on the turn of events, Freese added that he was disappointed with the decision and said it was unexpected.
“During my 40 years of drum professionally, I have never been released from a group, so even if I am not angry-just a little shocked and disappointed,” he wrote. “But as most of you know, I have always worked independent and I have rebounded between the groups, so I am condemned to a fine.”
He then joked: “Stay listening for my 10 main possible reasons that Josh was started from the list of Foo Fighters”.
Former Foo Fighters drummer William Goldsmith, 52, was one of the people reacting in the comments section and seemed just as shocked as Freeee.
