When it comes to Sheder Sanders and his draft drama of the NFL in 2025, actor Crews Terry knows what the young quarter is going through.
“I am this guy who thought I was going to be drafted high, and I was drafted in the 11th round,” said Crews, 56 years old US Weekly On Thursday, May 1, when he discussed his partnership with Starbucks and the launch of their new Sunsera, which is available in grocery stores to buy.
“They don’t have 11 laps now,” said Crews, who played the role of secondary and defensive of the NFL from 1991 to 1996. “So I know what Sheder is going through. But here is the thing: the project is not the game. It is the most beautiful thing on this subject. It is early.”
Sheder was the discourse of the NFL draft this year – the ancient quarter of the University of Colorado, Boulder and the son of the Legend of Football DEION SANDERS was transmitted in the first round (where it was to be selected). It was only in the fifth round that Sheder heard his name called after being selected by the Cleveland Browns.
An old tweet sent by his father, Deion, then resurfaced, in which the former wide receiver criticized the browns.
“I love what the Browns have done this off-season, but if I am a young QB, I am not going to Cleveland,” he wrote in a tweet published in 2018, evoking Eli Manningwho refused to play for the team that drafted him in 2004.
Sheder was also the center of a controversy on telephone calls, when the defensive coordinator of Atlanta Falcons Jeff Ulbrichson, Jax UlbrichCalled Sheder while pretending to be a member of New Orleans saints, offering him a false place in the team.
“Friday evening, I made a huge mistake, Jax, 21, wrote via Instagram on April 27, apologizing for the farce’s call.” Sheder, what I did was completely inexcusable, embarrassing and ashamed. I’m really sorry to have removed your moment, it was selfish and childish. (Jax and his father were sentenced to a fine by the NFL following the farce.)
Crews told We That in the middle of the whole drama, it is easy to get lost in the headlines and the back and forth.
“Everyone means who they know and have won and that, but they are still wrong,” he said. “Always. You return to the end of the season and they did not choose the winner. That’s why you have to play the game. And I’m a fan of all athletes because it’s a bit like The Talent Show [America’s Got Talent] – The risk, the sacrifice, which must be done, do what you do best in front of millions of people. It’s the same thing. I respect him so much.
He continued: “I was one of the few people who were in the NFL to have this career. And once again, my heart is full of gratitude, because many guys are athletes, they always think that it is automatic that a film career is supposed to occur and it is the biggest in this rare race.”
