Kevin Costner recently commented on the hit series “Yellow stone” and rumors of a breakup with her former co-star Luke Grimes.
In a new video, the acclaimed actor shared his thoughts on the popular drama’s finale following his exit from the series due to alleged fallouts with creator Taylor Sheridan.
After leaving the popular series, Kevin Costner moved on to his other project, “Horizon: An American Saga.”

Costner has broken his silence on the Season 5 finale of “Yellowstone” and its fallout with co-star Luke Grimes.
In a video obtained by the Daily MailAn unidentified individual approached the Oscar winner while he was walking in Aspen and asked him what he thought of the final episodes weeks after his character John Dutton was killed off in a fake suicide.
“I don’t think about [the Yellowstone finale]I don’t think I’ve thought about it, we’ll just let it go,” Costner responded.
The individual then doubled down on his relationship with his on-screen son and Kayce Dutton actor Grimes, asking Costner if he had spoken to him, but the 69-year-old movie star noted no.

Costner was a staple on the show as the head of the Dutton Ranch in Montana. However, his character was unexpectedly killed off in a murder-for-hire plot following his rumored fallout with Taylor Sheridan and scheduling conflicts for his own film, “Horizon.”

Luke Grimes shaded Kevin Costner

Grimes spoke candidly about how Costner’s exit from the series improved the filming experience for him and the other cast members.
“I hope everyone understands that it’s about time,” he said of Costner’s departure, according to the newspaper. Daily Mail. “To be really honest, part of Kevin was gone, which meant part of the conflict was gone.”
Grimes continued, “Obviously it didn’t make life very fun…Not to point fingers, but it was actually the easiest season we’ve filmed.”
In a recent interview with Men’s healthGrimes also noted that he hasn’t spoken with Costner since the show ended.

“No, I haven’t spoken to him since. It’s not a case of hard feelings or anything; it’s just that it’s Kevin Costner,” he joked. “It’s a big deal. I have his phone number – I just don’t feel like it’s my place to contact him. He can contact me if he wants.”
Grimes later told the outlet that none of the cast members “saw it happen like that, and obviously there was news about possible explosions behind the scenes or whatever. But like life, man, These things happen, they happen quickly and they are not predictable.

In an interview with DeadlineCostner weighed in on his rumored fallout with series creator Taylor Sheridan.
Reports suggest the two clashed because the actor wanted a say in how his character ended. Costner also reportedly faced scheduling conflicts when he began filming his Western series Horizon: An American Saga.
“I didn’t feel good about it last year, given the way they talked about it. It wasn’t truthful,” Costner said, referring to the blame placed on him for the behind-the-scenes drama .
“I concluded a contract for seasons five, six and seven. In February, after two or three months of negotiations, they concluded another contract,” he further explained. “They wanted to do that one again, and instead of seasons six and seven, it was 5A and 5B, and maybe we’ll do six. They couldn’t do them. Horizon was put in the middle, but Yellowstone was the first position. [Horizon] in the gaps. They just kept closing their gaps. »

He wasn’t happy that his colleagues didn’t defend him

Costner admitted that what he said was “direct” and that he was “beaten by these [expletive] the guys” on the team, “don’t speak up for me and don’t let crazy stories come out. “
He added that he was “not happy about it” as he spoke further about the situation.
“If you know me well enough, I have made Yellowstone the first priority, and to imply anything else would be wrong,” he explained during his conversation with Deadline. “I didn’t initiate any of those things. They did. They were tap dancing…I don’t know why they didn’t defend me.”
Actor was ‘scared as hell’ of show’s casting

Denim Richards, whose character Colby was recently killed off on the show, shared that Costner was “scared to death” when the cast first met for a table read.
“Everyone gets together and [Kevin Costner] between. He has this massive presence, but so humble,” Richards told the New York Post. “Everyone gets ready to get up from the table to read and go out. [Costner] said, “I don’t know about you guys, but I’m really scared. So why don’t we come together as best we can, make this happen and support each other.'”
Richards noted that Costner’s speech took “the stress out of the room” and that “it was a beautiful thing.”

He added: “He’s an Oscar-winning legend…whether he was really scared or not, who knows. But it gave everyone that extra level of confidence that there’s no hierarchy.”
